Crispy, breadcrumb-coated risotto balls filled with ragu, spring peas, and mozzarella

A cross between Catarratto and Zibibbo, this ancient variety produces a complex and flavorful wine with concentrated aromas. In Tenuta Regaleali, the Grillo grape is grown on the hillside alongside Case Vecchie. They try to play on the different harvest times: one part is harvested in advance to keep high acidity and minerality, while the later harvest gives structure and body.
Second Course: Homemade Fettucini with Mussel Ragu
fresh homemade pasta, tomato and wine broth stewed with mussels and garlic butter

On June 3, 1985, Count Giuseppe Tasca d’Almerita celebrated 50 years of marriage to his wife Franca with a wine that would tell the family history and the estate. The wine tells of a romance between two people and two grapes: Inzolia and Sauvignon, the latter selected from a vineyard present at Tenuta Regaleali since the end of World War I.
Third Course: Swordfish Involtini with Caponata
Thin slices of swordfish rolled around a filling of parsley, capers and raisins
served with sweet and sour Sicilian vegetable stew made with eggplant, tomato, onion and vinegar

From Nerello Mascalese grapes, cultivated since the 70s, this wine combines the savoriness of the whites with the elegant fruitiness of the reds, allowing for diverse pairings. Fresh and balanced with sharp aromas and a lightness on the palate. The name recalls the floral scents of the variety and tells the story of the rose varieties that have always been grown on Tenuta Regaleali.
